Everything Possible
“Everything Possible” is a joyful and inclusive lullaby about love, acceptance and following your heart.
Strong and bold, or quiet and kind, every child is unique, and their future filled with possibilities. Everything Possible celebrates love and friendship, gently encouraging children to dream their own dream and choose their own path, wherever it may take them.
In March of 1983, Janet Peterson's nine-year-old son was struggling with peer pressure to conform to masculine stereotypes — to be tough, cool, and unemotional. He was sad because he wasn't allowed to hug his friends anymore. Janet asked her minister, Fred Small, to help her respond to her son, to let him know that he didn't have to fit that mold, and that he could choose his own path. This song was Fred's response.
